September brings the Spring

Septemeber is the start of Spring and riding time usually.
Paul from Greenspeed answered my emails on the 2 scorcher tyres and I returned them later in the month. Thanks Paul for the replacements. Don at the LBS took a while to get replacements in so I was a while without a tyre for the trike so did a fair bit on the wedgie.

Saturday September 1st 72 km on the trike
Sunday September 2nd 42 km on the wedgie with the Inverloch riding group the Bass Coast Cruisers.
Monday 3rd September 20km Exercise bike
Thursday 6th September 34km wedgie, Around the block, Wonthaggi,Cape, Inverloch
Saturday 8th September 42 km Wedgie with the Coasters
Sunday 9th September 100 km Wedgie. 42 with the coasters and the rest to Koonwarra with Heather and return, the last 3 around Inverloch to finish the 100.
Wednesday 12th September 20km Wedgie Gee I miss the trike (awaiting tyre)
Thursday 13th September 35km Wedgie, Better weather make for good riding
Saturday 15th September 50km Wedgie, We rode some of the bike paths of Melbourne. Great weather and a great day but better signage is needed or use the gps
Sunday 16th September 42km Wedgie
Wednesday 19th September 19km Trike. Finally have a new tyre.
Saturday 22nd September 63km Trike
Sunday 23rd September 47km Trike and 34km Wedgie.
Monday 24th September 20km Exercise bike. It has been a while since i rode this.
Tuesday 25th September 38km Trike to the back of Meeniyan
Wednesday 26th Sptember 30km Trike

40 km on the Exercise Bike
357 km on the Wedgie
218 km on the trike.
615 km in total on all forms of bike.
An average of almost 20.5 km per day. Bring on the summer. The extra weekend in the days helps.
I now have 3 spare tyres and know Don has another 2 for me if I need them. I will need another one before the GVBR and will take a spare with me on the ride. I expect to wear a third out before the end of the year and be back to no spares by then.
The Scorcher TR tyres are great and have cut punctures.
